Chronology
A would-be chef and a recently divorced woman find their lives changed forever when a chance encounter leads them into a deeply moving decade-long romance. When Florence Pugh was unable to attend the film’s premiere due to other filming commitments, Andrew Garfield brought a life-size cutout to fill in for her absence. In a scene in the living room with candles and fire, Almut closes Tobias’ notebook, but in the next shot it is opened.

Tobias: Because I’m worried that there is a very clear and real possibility that I am about to fall in love with you. Is It a Sin Written by Al Hazan Performed by Allie Hazan. Well, it was definitely a great movie to watch with lots of other people.
Lots of people in the audience laughed and cried
I didn’t feel emotionally devastated, I felt uplifted by the performances I saw. Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh are amazing in this movie. They are so good together, there is a real sense of trust between them.
I didn’t care because I believed him
I accidentally overheard a man leaving the festival hall sarcastically saying to his friend, “and it turns out she is a world-class chef…”. I don’t want to watch a movie about an ordinary, boring life, I want an escape, a romance, something different from my life, but based on the truth. A domestic drama, but between two beautiful people.
I will definitely see it again, time has flown by
