Growing up in the Amazon jungle has brought Autumn the rarest of friendships – a lost jaguar cub she discovers named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope behind for the unknown of New York, she dreams for years of returning to the rainforest and her boyfriend. Autumn, 14 years old and accustomed to city life, discovers that her childhood village is being threatened by animal traffickers and decides to return to the Amazon with her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards) – Autumn’s adorably clumsy biology teacher – tries unsuccessfully to talk her out of this ill-advised plan. Autumn and Anja embark on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who want to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
