Florida Law Lifts Ban on Pit Bulls in Miami-Dade County
It is the first time since the 1980s that Miami-Dade County residents can legally own pit bulls, thanks to a recently-enacted Florida law.
Miami-Dade passed the ban more than three decades ago after a seven-year-old girl was mauled by a pit bull.
